Open role
Retail Sales Associate
Full time, in store, at our retail partner locations across Ohio. You represent one client’s brand on the floor, match shoppers to the product that actually fits them, and turn a store visit into a signed customer.
The job
You are the brand on the floor. You are assigned one client program and you learn it before you stand behind it — the range, the plans, the things it does badly as well as the things it does well. Then you work the department: opening conversations with people who came in to browse, and finishing them with someone who has bought the right thing.
What you will do
- Open a conversation with every customer who walks the department, not only the ones who look ready to buy.
- Represent the client’s brand on the floor the way they would represent it themselves.
- Recommend against what the customer told you they need, not against what is easiest to move.
- Keep learning the product after training ends. The range changes and the second question gets harder.
- Keep the display and the stock in the state the client would want to walk in and find.
- Sit the debrief when the store closes and change your approach the next morning.
What we look for
- Eighteen or older.
- You work well in a fast, team-run environment and on a floor that gets busy.
- Flexible availability, including the hours a shop floor is actually busy.
- You are good with people and can hold a conversation with a stranger.
- No degree and no retail experience. Training covers the product before you carry it.
How you are paid
- You are paid on what you personally close. No part of your pay comes from anyone else's sales.
- There is no buy-in. You never pay us anything.
- Nothing is weighted by tenure. The board resets every Monday and last week's number does not carry.
- Your exact structure is stated plainly in the first conversation and put in writing before you commit to anything.
Where it goes
Retail is a floor, not a ceiling. From here the path is Senior Associate, then Team Lead, then Market Lead, and each step is a wider scope rather than a longer service record. Recruiting, operations and client partnership are all staffed from people who did this job first.
You are on your feet for a full shift, and most people you speak to did not come in to talk to you. Some days the floor is dead and you close nothing. The store’s numbers are visible to everyone and the board still resets on Monday.
Apply

You get a straight conversation in which your pay structure is stated plainly, and if that goes well, a day in the field with the team before anyone mentions an offer.
